Industrial marking machines BERMA dot peen and laser

Decio and Mauro Bergamini founded the company BERMA in Bologna as new manufacturer of machines and equipments for Industrial Marking. The first MB60 and MB30 marking machines were installed in October of the same year. In just a few years, BERMA products established themselves on the Italian market and were used in numerous production lines.

The company established its administrative branch and technical offices in Bologna, in the Fair district area, while its assembly shop and warehouse were in Monterenzio. Through regional financial contribution, arranged to promote technical innovation, BERMA built its first automatic markers with “daisy tool” employed for VIN marking on the motorbike chassis.

BERMA became BERMA Macchine. In the new headquarter in Budrio (BO), we carry out the design of mechanical parts, hardware & software and also the assembling and testing of the whole range of our marking systems.
Moreover we started the development of our new dot peen marking machines that have led to the first model MB1, commercialized since 1999.

We presented our new and innovative portable dot peen marking system MB2-P80 (pneumatic stylus) that allows to perform a very deep marking. In a short time this product has become the benchmark for the companies that requires to perform a marking on a big size parts, that it can be visible also later a painting or galvanizing process.

BERMA Macchine enters the laser marking market with products that present various innovations for this sector, such as the total independence of the systems from the PC. Our IDENTIFY software platform, known to be User Friendly, is now capable of supporting both dot-peen and laser marking systems.

The company's continuous specialization shifts the mission to the design and production of "turnkey" customized systems and solutions (including robotic) for industrial testing and traceability processes.
The standard product range represents today an industry benchmark for proven robustness, reliability and ease of use and integration into complex systems.
