10 years of laser marking with BERMA

In year 2012, during MECSPE exhibition (held in Parma at that time), we presented our first industrial laser marking machine.
It was the result of years of development, while we aimed and reached the most advanced technological level: right from the beginning we equipped our laser marking systems with an XXXX card produced directly by BERMA, to maximize the machine potential.
A decisive idea, providing the user our machines with unique advantages still today:
• Totally stand-alone functioning of the marking machine (it is not necessary to connect a PC to make it operational)
• 100% remote support and assistance, performed directly on the machine control panel by our technicians in our headquarters: this sets to zero the intervention time on the software and for support/training
A far-sighted idea too, as from the very beginning it made BERMA industrial marking machines suitable to Industry 4.0 issues natively:
• The use of the same software platform between laser and dot peen markers allows you to update the machine park while continuing to use the same libraries and databases, keeping the user interface unchanged, thus eliminating training time and cost.
• The fully customizable protocols and data interchange signals, making them immediately compatible with the other machinery present, reduce time and cost of adaptation and implementation.
